Remembering and Honoring Lives with Stumbling Stones

MEA is placing “stumbling stones,” bronze markers with the names and vital information of Arlington’s once enslaved people, where they lived and toiled. These plaques were adapted from German "Stolpersteine," used throughout Europe to honor Holocaust victims.
